Mount Sinai Fertility is pleased to announce the commencement of Phase 2. Over the next two weeks, our nursing team will be contacting those patients whose embryo transfer was cancelled in March. We know that this wait has been difficult and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we resume services in a manner that preserves quality and safety. Please read the information below carefully before contacting the clinic.

How will MSF manage the transition to Phase 2?

Starting next week, our nursing team will begin contacting patients whose embryo transfer cycle was cancelled in March. Patients will receive an email with instructions on when to call their Day 1 to start their FET cycle. If you were cancelled in March and do not hear from us by July 15th, please contact the nursing team at We ask for your continued patience over the next few weeks as we start contacting this large group of patients.

My cycle was NOT cancelled in March, but I want to start an FET cycle as soon as possible. When can I start?

We have a large number of patients whose transfer was cancelled in March. We expect to complete these cycles over the next two months. We will provide an approximate date for when we can start this second group of patients by mid-July. Please know that we are working hard to maximize the number of patients we can see while maintaining safe practices. We will know more precise timelines once we start our first group of FET patients.

Can I start my IVF cycle?

We started offering IVF cycles to patients who were cancelled in March as of the beginning of June. If you are interested in starting a new self-pay IVF cycle and haven’t been added to our IVF list, please contact your physician’s office and they will add you. Patients who are on the list for funded IVF will be contacted in the order they were added to the list. We are currently contacting patients who were scheduled for a funded cycle in April and May.
