Rebecca Arthur BSc (Hon), MD, MSc, FRCSC

Dr. Arthur is a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.  She is also certified in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and a full-time staff physician at Mount Sinai Fertility.

Her primary area of interest is in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QuIPs), particularly as it relates to patient care in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

She has an MSc in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the University of Toronto and previously completed the C-QuIPS Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Certificate Course.

Dr. Arthur’s active area of research is in applying LEAN principles to the provision of infertility treatment in an ambulatory outpatient setting at Mount Sinai Fertility.

She is the head of Quality Improvement for the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and represents the division to the Central Quality Assurance Committee.

Prior to completing her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Toronto, Dr. Arthur obtained her medical degree at McMaster University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Guelph.
