Dr. Liu is also interested in law, and uses this knowledge to complement her interests and decision making with regards to ethical and legal problems that arise in fertility.

“It’s immensely satisfying to help people stay strong and overcome at a time when they are their most vulnerable.”

Dr. Liu’s main areas of interest are improving clinical outcomes in assisted reproductive technologies, and the ethical and legal issues related to reproductive health. During her training and career, Dr. Liu has received a number of research awards, has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals such as Fertility and Sterility, and has presented regularly at highly respected national and international conferences. Dr. Liu is the author of many national guidelines for fertility treatment and feels these standards help ensure patients receive the most evidence-based information and care.
