Kimberly Liu MD, FRCSC, MSL

Dr. Kimberly Liu is an Infertility Physician and has been with Mount Sinai Fertility since 2008 after earning her Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Mount Sinai Hospital at the University of Toronto.  Prior to that, she completed her medical residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Liu obtained her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario and her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University.  Dr. Liu also has special interest in health law and completed a Masters in Studies in Law (MSL) at the University of Toronto where she currently holds the position of Assistant Professor and is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching.  Dr. Liu is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well as a member of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).  She is also a Board Member of the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada (IAAC) and on the editorial board of its quarterly publication “Creating Families”.

During her training and her career, Dr. Liu has received a number of research awards, has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals such as Fertility and Sterility and has regularly presented at highly respected national and international conferences.

Dr. Liu’s main areas of interest are improving clinical outcomes in assisted reproductive technologies and the ethical and legal issues related to reproductive health.
