Our Laboratory Team

Our laboratory team is comprised of highly trained embryologists, andrologists and dedicated support staff with broad expertise in reproductive science and assisted reproductive technologies:

Embryologists: Experts in handling and caring for eggs, sperm and embryos. Their care is crucial to processes of fertilization, embryo development, and successful embryo transfer (often following freezing, storage and thaw).

Andrologists: Specialists responsible for safe and effective assessment and processing of sperm for immediate use in treatment or for storage and subsequent use in treatment.

Comprehensive Laboratory Services

Our team uses a wide range of Assisted Reproductive Technologies to support your fertility treatment:

  • Egg Retrieval and Embryo Transfer Participation: Ensuring that eggs are recovered with the best start to laboratory handling and that embryos are provided to the clinical team and patient in the safest and most efficient manner for successful return to the uterus.
  • Freezing, Storage and Thawing: Safe and effective cryopreservation of your sperm, eggs, and embryos.
  • ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection): When required and/or requested, precise sperm selection and injection into the egg for optimal fertilization.
  • Embryo Culturing: Nurturing embryos in a controlled and monitored (24/7) environment to support healthy development.
  • Biopsy for PGS/PGD: When required or requested, genetic testing of biopsied cells allows selection of embryos that are normal for tested genes and/or have the normal number of chromosomes prior to transfer.
