
Dr. Jennia Michaeli: Recognized Among Toronto’s Top Doctors for Excellence in Fertility Care
Mount Sinai Fertility is proud to announce that Dr. Jennia Michaeli has been recognized as one of Toronto’s Top Doctors for 2025, honoring her exceptional contributions to reproductive medicine and patient-centered fertility care.
Dr. Michaeli earned her medical degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. She further specialized with a clinical fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Toronto. Currently, she serves as a Clinician-Investigator and Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto.
Advancements in Fertility Preservation
Dr. Michaeli has been instrumental in advancing fertility preservation care in Ontario. She has established and co-leading the Fertility Preservation Program at The Hospital for Sick Children and assists in establishing similar programs in other Pediatric Oncology Centres in the province. She is a keen advocate for the improvement of fertility preservation services in Ontario .Her research on ovarian tissue cryopreservation has laid the foundation for Mount Sinai Fertility’s Ovarian Tissue Cryopreservation program. In November 2023, her work was recognized with an award at the Oncofertility Consortium, highlighting her commitment to offering innovative solutions for patients seeking to preserve their fertility.
Patient-Centered Approach
At Mount Sinai Fertility, Dr. Michaeli is known for her compassionate and personalized approach. She collaborates closely with patients to develop tailored treatment plans, ensuring they feel supported throughout their fertility journey. She provides comprehensive fertility care and leads the unique Cancer Survivorship Fertility clinic that offers fertility assessment, preservation and treatment to cancer survivors.
